Career Conferences

Building and fostering a rich academic career requires intention and support from colleagues and mentors.

The purposes of Career Conferences:

  • Reflect on the past year
  • Define individual goals for growth in the new year
  • Meet collaboratively with a trusted career mentor or departmental leader who can facilitate career development
  • Identify new ways to support faculty
  • Information gathered in preparation for the conference helps with CV curation and academic promotion

EasyCV Guide

What is EasyCV?

  • EasyCV is an online program used to house and format all CVs. Managing CVs can be very time consuming and making sure that it is up to date every year can be a chore.
  • EasyCV will format the CV properly and carry over year to year, so that it only needs to have new material updated. This reduces the amount of time needed to be spent on this, thus reducing the burden on the faculty.
  • EasyCV will be used to assist with facilitating annual career conferences and will provide a forum for discussion between the faculty member and their mentor conference leader.
  • EasyCV will also assist with the promotions process by highlighting all accomplishments, and will serve as the most up to date CV when submitting to Harvard Medical School for review.

Contact your administrative assistant for help getting your CV in the program. This will automatically put the CV in Harvard Medical School format.
